From its humble beginnings in 1982, the Maryborough Cricket Club has always had a strong following from the local cricket community but it has grown considerably, largely because of its popularity with those members of the Maryborough community who, in the past, had little interest in cricket or the goings-on at Newtown Oval.

Over more than 40 years, the Maryborough Cricket Club has been renovated and extended on several occasions and is now open 7 days per week from 10:00am. The Maryborough Cricket Club has also broadened its support to a whole range of other sporting and community organisations while continuing to focus on promoting the game of cricket on the Fraser Coast.

While we describe ourselves as “Maryborough’s best kept secret Club”, this is changing and now the community have discovered what a great facility they have in local area.

The Maryborough Cricket Club is therefore the perfect spot for those in Maryborough and the Fraser Coast looking to enjoy a casual meal at our bistro, a refined dining experience, a relaxing drink at the bar, a flutter on the gaming machines or Keno, or to host a memorable event. From weddings and birthdays to engagements and special celebrations, our function venue is designed to bring your vision to life.
